Breastfeeding is a learned behavior.  We learn by looking, listening, and being surrounded by women that are breastfeeding their own children.  Many women give birth and are not surrounded by other women that are breastfeeding or have breastfed.   These professional drop-in services are for mothers that are looking for some reassurance and to have breastfeeding questions answered by a specialist. The studio provides a safe haven for mothers to breastfeed outside the home.  If you are not comfortable with a group environment, please schedeule a private consultation.

Services are provided by Dana L. Ehman, BA, IBCLC, RLC and owner of MotherBorn.  Dana has over a decade of combined personal, trained counseling, and international board certified experience. Dana has a Bachelor of Arts in Health Care Management from Immaculata University and is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).  An IBCLC is the only lactation credential that is reimbursable by insurance provides.  A detailed receipt is provided for some services but coverage or reimbursement is not guaranteed.
